It all started in a basement…
In 2021 my good friend, Mary Kate, looked at a sweatshirt my son was wearing and said to me, “You could make that!” Within a couple of weeks, Dot’s Tees was born. Things started off with a Cricut and an iron in my basement, with a focus on custom kid’s clothing and somehow ended up here…with my shirts and hats in some of my favorite stores.
I owe a lot to Mary Kate and shop owners like Amy Morris, at The Little House who pushed me to sell in stores. The first few buyers sparked a confidence in my work that just kept growing. My poor friends have had to answer hundreds of texts asking their opinions on designs and my husband has graciously accepted our house is also a storage and mailing center.
If I could thank Taylor Swift, I sure would. Because holy hell people love wearing her face.
This has been a fun and unexpected ride. Thanks for the support!
